Each November EMS holds a one-day national conference attended by promoters from across Scotland, providing a forum for discussion about the following season’s concert programmes. Promoters exchange news about performers who may be touring within Scotland the following year, and largely from this and information available in the Tours Book, promoters work together to co-ordinate their concert programmes.

The Conference also provides a short showcase for emerging or developing chamber music ensembles which this year will feature musicians from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama alongside the recipients of Enterprise Music Scotland's new Residency Project.

The outcome of the Tours Conference is that promoters can set up co-ordinated tours for performers who are booked to give concerts at a number of venues.
